Grand Cayman is easy to navigate with a wide variety of transportration options. If you want to get out and explore the entire island, a rental car will be your best option. If you just want to relax and remain within the area you're staying, using a taxi service or the public buses might be easier and a more economical approach. If you're not comfortable with driving on the left side and using roundabouts, be sure to check out the Rules of the Road if you plan on renting a car.
The Cayman Islands is a British territory, which means you drive on the left and there are more roundabouts than 4-way stops and traffic lights.
